Movie Library ++
(Latest Javadoc available here if you are interested in knowing more about the program)
Please note that this is a public version and therefore not all classes are shown i.e. only public classes.

The Movie library application is a Java program designed to keep your videos organized or your PC. You can import almost any type of video (using drag and drop) and fill in information about the videos yourself or let the program guess the movie/series from the file name and link to our database, to get the information.
You can also convert the videos to many different video types using the preset profiles provided.
See the Downloads page for the newest releases and up to date info about the application.
This program is only compatible with Windows and Java 1.6 (or above).

For easy installation and stable running it is recommended to use VLC media player or SMPlayer for the video playback and have one of them installed before the installation of this program. You can download it from official website by clicking on the VLC media player link on this page. Some other video players will work with this software but you will have to browse and select it manually from inside the program on first run of the program.

To convert DVDs to avi (Xvid,H.264) use a tool like DVD Decrypter (link on downloads page) to rip the appropriate VOB files, do not use any file splitting (This is how to disable it in DVD Decrypter. Click on Tools-->Settings--> IFO Mode-->Options-->File Splitting - None), then import the .vob file into the application and convert as usual.
Tutorial on how to rip DVDs to avi, mp4 (Xvid, H.264) now available on the Tutorials page.

Also i have to remind people that even if you own the DVD you cannot do anything you want with it (i.e. convert it to watch on you are iPod, PSP, PC or any other device might not be allowed) which means that you are only supposed to use this software to convert Home DVDs or any other "not Copyrighted" material or check you have the right to convert the video.

Data Analysis System

This is a Java Applet tool being developed for Energy Management Services to enable data manipulation and interpretation online for the customers. The functions available are a Half Hourly Data (Electricity) download, and generated graphs to show the consumption shape throughout the period chosen by the user.
There is also a Energy Monitoring tool which lets the user input and save his own meter reads in the system for instant automatically generated reports for cost, consumption, site energy performance (PI) and CO2 emissions (for carbon certificates). All this information is available on-line in the form of tables and graphs which can be saved or printed.
Soon an export function to save the report to PDF will be available and the report generation system will also create a short worded summary (automatically generated) to explain the tables and graphs.

Click here to go to the Data Analysis System page. Requires a Java enabled browser. To Log in use (username: admin, password: 123).

You need to accept the digital certificate when the applet is started or almost all the functions will be disabled due to Java applet security policy.

(N.B. The digital signature for the applet has ran out and I have not had time to renew it which means you will not be able to go past the main menu one you have logged on, I will try to sign it as soon as possible.)
