Energy Management Services was established on 1^st April 1995 as a business unit of Lancashire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Prior to that date we were part of the Estates Division of the North Western Health Authority, which offered a complete range of estate services.

The staff of EMS have a long and proven history in the NHS and their credibility has grown out of providing sound advice on energy management issues augmented by the achievement of exceptionally attractive rates for the purchase of energy in the competitive energy supply market which has developed since the 1990's.

EMS are now able to make these services available at competitive rates to the whole of the NHS, the remainder of the public sector and the private sector.
